anyone have dial up modem works vista

Hello all. I have just installed the Windows Vista Beta 2 Build 5384 and I am having trouble getting my U.S. Robotics v.92 Faxmodem to work properly. I had to reinstall the driver after I installed Vista and after I did so the computer recognized the modem. But, after I rebooted the computer and signed in, I got an error message saying that that the U.S. Robotics driver interface has stopped working and needs to be shut down. I've rebooted the computer several times and the same message appears after I sign in. I can't query the modem and the ControlCenter software that comes with U.S. Robotics doesn't recognize the modem either. I've tried several different drivers with no difference. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas? Anyone have a modem that works? I'd use my ethernet card but I don't have DSL, only PeoplePC as my ISP (which doesn't work either because Vista isn't compatible with the software). Thanks for any help you can give me!!!
